Welcome to Ritma ("Service"), operated by Ritma ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
Ritma is a science-based personal productivity platform that helps you track habits, set goals, manage tasks, and monitor life balance. The Service is available as a web application and progressive web app (PWA). We offer a free tier with core features and may introduce premium paid features in the future.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account using either an email address and password or Google OAuth authentication. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (d) upload malicious code or content; (e) impersonate another person or entity; (f) use the Service to collect personal data about other users; or (g) use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Ritma and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the data and content you create within the Service ("User Content"), including your habits, goals, tasks, assessments, and notes. We claim no ownership over your User Content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Freemium Model & Future Paid Features
The Service currently offers a free tier. We may introduce paid subscription plans or premium features in the future. If we do, we will clearly communicate pricing and terms before any charges apply. Free tier features available at the time of your registration will remain accessible to you. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before removing core free features.
7. Account Termination & Deletion
You may close your account at any time from the Account Settings page. Closed accounts enter a 30-day grace period during which you can sign in and restore your account. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted. You may also request immediate permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. 9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ritma shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
